At the end of June I photographed Lauren’s wedding in Bali with my best friend in the land, Natasja Kremers.

Did I mention it was in Bali? Because I am so high-flying and famous and stuff.

Our husbands were guests so please play “spot the husband” in the candid guest shots :) They drank all day while we worked. They passed us waters occasionally though but I don’t think I’ll take mine along as anĀ assistant again :)

It’s was only the second time I have been to a wedding with my husband in the 10 years we have been married and even though I had my eyeballs on the job, it is kind of romantic to be together and watch a couple commit themselves to each other.

As a wedding photographer herself, Lauren planned her day to include 2 wonderful features; (i) a “First Look” where the bride and groom see each other for photographs before the ceremony. This leaves lots of time for guest mingling and interaction after the ceremony. This really works well for people who don’t want to leave their guests. (ii) One location. Lauren had the photos, the ceremony and the reception in one location (she was also able to get ready there). This is perfect for people that want a completely fuss free experience.

Ok, so here is what I got …
